Al Capone (1899-1947) Personally owned monogrammed cufflinks by infamous Chicago mobster and Public Enemy #1, Al Capone. The cufflinks were given to Mary Stewart, who ran errands for Capone while he lived at the Lexington Hotel in Chicago. Her duties included dry cleaning and laundry. These cufflinks were accidentally left on one of his shirts. Upon returning them to Capone, he complimented Stewart on her honesty and gifted the cufflinks to her. Included in the display is a vintage fully certified signed photo of Al Capone. Also included is a letter of provenance from Jerry Stewart, Mary’s son.
A great piece from the American gangster known as “Scarface”.
