Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, was called "The Napoleon of the West", a Mexican political leader, general, and eleven time president of Mexico who controlled politics and government, fought for Mexican independence, and was the fierce adversary at The Battle of the Alamo, where Santa Anna's forces killed almost 200 Texans and then executed more than 340.
