 Product Description

Guns N’ Roses Appetite for Destruction, first release of debut album in 1987, with the controversial cover that was banned from stores.  It was enormously successful, becoming the 11th best selling LP in the US and now called one of the greatest hard rock albums of all time. The artwork by Robert Williams (and this is one of those original releases) showed a robotic rapist about to be punished by a metal avenger.  Stores refused to stock it so that much like The Beatles Butcher album, it was recalled and a new cover was made for it, showing a Celtic cross and skulls of the five band members.  This original release of Appetite for Destruction is signed by Axl Rose, Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin, Slash and Duff McKagan.
