"Introducing the Beatles" Vintage signed album by John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. This was The Beatles' very first American album, released January 1964 on the VeeJay label. It became an instant collectors item not just for the fabulous music, but because Capitol records sued VeeJay for recording "their" new stars. A representative from VeeJay, a Motown Music Company who had not ventured into this realm before, whisked the Beatles away to a meeting where they signed them up and released their first album, this one. Innocent of the ways of American competition, The Beatles didn’t know they could not do that since they had an agreement with Capitol. So Capitol grabbed them back, also released "Introducing the Beatles”, and sued VeeJay….who laughed all the way to the bank. This is an original VeeJay SR1062 first release album. In 6 months, it earned a Platinum Record Award for over a million in sales. Terrific and rare Beatles rock 'n roll history. Signatures a little light but fully visible.
