 Product Description

President John Adams, 1735 - 1826, second American President and very first American Vice President; a Founding Father, statesman, diplomat and leader of American Independence. He assisted Thomas Jefferson in drafting the Declaration of Independence and significantly was a signer of the Declaration.  Adams also traveled as a diplomat to negotiate the peace treaty with Great Britain. Here is a document portion for a formal deed from Stephen Rays from Gideon Rays. It is dated 1790 and signed by John Adams. When Adams was elected President, his was the first family to live in the White House. Extremely rare document. Both pages shown are originals for this document.
