 Product Description

Joe Musial, 1905 - 1977, is considered one of the premier comic strip artists of the 20th century.  His first job was on the "Barney Google" comics in 1929 and from that fame, he joined the staff of King Features where he produced "Blondie", Tillie the Toiler", "Elmer", "Little Iodine" and his terrific series, "The Katzenjammer Kids". He was also the author of the Career Guide for Cartoonists and wrote children's books.
Here is a wonderful and rare find as it is original penned and signed cartoon artwork by this legendary cartoonist, Joe Musial, for "The Katzenjammer Kids", 1962.  This is 15" x 22" and in excellent condition.  The strip was dedicated to Peter B. Shikes, all drawn in ink.
