Marc Chagall, 1887 - 1985, Russian/Jewish artist, who studied art in St. Petersburg. Paris bound in 1910, he joined the Cubist artists, with his special touch being colorful lovers. He was appointed director of Vitebsk Art School and influenced an Avant Garde movement. Here is a 1977 lithograph, hand signed by Marc Chagall entitled “Daphnis and Chloe Portfolio”. This measures 19x13” before framing from the Sandy Grayson St. Petersburg collection with original certificate of authenticity.
