Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier original 1998 "Timeless Legends" original boxing action figures in their never-opened box, with boxing robes behind them, locked in competition! "The boxing ring was their battleground for three fights and more than 40 rounds in a span of 4-1/2 years". It was called "The Greatest" meets "Smokin'Joe", and it was indeed a contest. The first fight, March 8, 1971 in Madison Square Garden, saw Frazier winning. The second fight, January 28, 1974 in Madison Square Garden saw Ali winning. And the third fight, October, 1975 in the Arabeta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines, known as the "Thrilla in Manilla", ended with Ali retaining his crown as World Heavyweight Champion. This 32" x 33" Hasbro display is signed by both Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. We have two of these and the in-person signing is commemorated with a color photo of Muhammad Ai signing both boxes while sitting in his car. This is a "knock out"! Ali credited Frazier as the greatest opponent he ever had and Frazier called Ali a great champion!
