 Product Description

Samuel Adams, 1722-1803, statesman, signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.  As a politician in colonial Massachusetts, Adams was a leader of the movement that became the American Revolution and considered one of the chief architects of the Republic.  He was second cousin to John Adams, a graduate of Harvard, an influential official of the House of Representatives and of the essential "Boston Town Meeting". He attended the Continental Congress and helped draft the Articles of Confederation. Here is a hand written bottom of a document which reads: June 4th, 1794, by the Government, Sam Adams".
