1906 Koken original oak barber chair, with rare original headrest and perfect oak legs and claw feet. It is highly unusual to find the earliest barber chairs with the original legs and feet in tact, as generally the bottom portion would be damaged over time and replaced with a porcelain base. It has nickel appointments and when you tip down the footrest, the underside has laced pot-metal artistry with the Koken name in the center. It swivels, raises, tips and lowers.
